Eddie is a life-long native of the Memphis, TN area, and was employed by the City of Memphis for thirty (30) years.  He served in several executive leadership positions throughout his career while employed by them.  Afterwards, he served as a City Manager for a town in West Tennessee.  Currently, he has been employed for twelve (12) years as a District Sales Manager for a Truck Equipment Company.

He currently serves on several Boards for the Public Works Association and Solid Waste Industry.   In 1991, he served as President of the Union University National Alumni Association.  Eddie is the Right Worthy Grand Sentinel of the General Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and a Past Grand Patron of Tennessee (1998-99).
